ON CONCRETE: First the area is cleaned either by acid wash and or grinding with our large diamond disk grinders. This needs to be done as concrete is porous and holds all sorts dirt and chemicals that will reduce bondage. Then cracks and joints are repaired and expoxy filled with the first coat of aquapoxy rolled onto the surface.
Aquapoxy is a 2 pack water based epoxy system that has a proven ability to bond to damp surfaces and hold back an exceptional 21kgs of hydrostatic pressure. which means it stops water/moisture being drawn up through the concrete to weaken the bondage.
The 2nd coat is applied in small areas at a time and while wet, paint flakes (they look like confetti) are flicked into the wet aquapoxy to give the desired colour and sprayed with a fine mist of water to melt then in. Once the whole area is completed and dry several coats of 2 pack clear glaze is then applied by roller to protect the flake and give a hard and durable surface design for a truck to drive over.
